Top shooters all over the world align their arrows spine with their nock and fletch their arrows so that the arrows all bend the same coming out of the bow.  You can set your arrow to dynamically come out of the bow with the strong side of your spine facing up  or down for a lizard tongue arrow rest, or away from your springy arrow rest.

You do not have to be a top tournament shooter to want all your arrows flying as close to the exact same way.  It just makes since for hunters, target shooters  or recreational shooters to match your gear better to you and your form.
